| Hang Zhou is the capital city of Zhejiang province. It is 151 km from Shanghai and located at the South end of the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. Hangzhou has been the capital city for the Wuyue kingdom in Five Dynasties (907 -960) and Southern Song (1127 -1299). It is one of the seven ancient capitals in China.
