View of the canyon from underneath the bridge

Pu on the trail

Sign of a waterfall

The bumpy and dusty narrow dirt road to the natural bridge was not a joyful ride. Once there, the uphill gravel trail on the wash bed through the canyon was not an easy hike either. Once there, the view of natural bridge was quite rewarding. The canyon walls rise up about 50 feet. Here and there on the wall you can see traces of water marks, even a sign of a waterfall. This road is closed in summer since flash flood can come very suddenly and cause some serious problems to tourists. Standing in the canyon and watching the clouds flowing over the narrow sky above you, you can visualize the power of water rushing through.

Tev measuring the bridge.
