| This volcanic crater is located west of Scotty's Castle. It is 1/2 mile wide and 750 feet deep. The inner wall of the crater displays the colorful rock of the region. Ubehebe is the largest of a group of craters. A trail around the rim leads to Little Ubehebe and other smaller craters. Hiking uphill on the loose gravel trail was quite a challenge, downhill was lots of fun. | |
