Sand dunes
We stayed one night in Stovepipe Wells Village. About 2 miles east of the village, there lies 14 miles of sand dunes --- the Mesquite Flat dunes. We enjoyed our stay a lot since it gave us a unique opportunity to see the dunes at different times of the day. We got to see sunset and sunrise, and even went on a moonlight hike on the sand dunes.
